I am just curious how many people are from Michigan on AZ. If you are from

Michigan maybe you can tell us where you like to play, or if your a league

player, a tournament player etc.

im from michigan and

I wish I had time to play more but with all the tour stuff and now live show its tough! When I do play I love anazeh sands in grand rapids or break room in grand rapids and then of course another favorite is chalkys que stick cafe. In holland michigan! I don't play leagues and I love playing on 9 foot tables!!

i'm in g.r. and right now am canon fodder in what ever tourneys i can afford.

so i mostly play in mpt events as they are well run, reasonable and close.

i like to play on 9ft. 3-c and snooker tables.

I am in Michigan and when I do get a chance to play it is either at the Break Room or Anazeh Sands West.

I have been mostly a league player but I quit drinking 3 years ago and now leagues are not so much fun. Now I spend most of my time here or doing video and live streaming.

I live in Plymouth, there are several places to play here, Hall of Fame in Warren, The Rack in Livonia, The Sharks Club, we have a lot of AZ'ers in this area, hopefully they will reply. If you are ever in the Detroit area, I would be happy to meet and play some pool. Tom

Southern MI here. I play on two league teams and play in some local tourneys fairly regularly. Favorite tourney that is a short drive is the Sunday 9 ball handicap tournament at Playtime in KZoo.

Originally I was born and grew up in Redford, just west of Detroit. My folks retired and moved to Tucson when I was 13. I still go back every few years to visit my two older brothers, one is in Westland and the other in Canton.
The last time I took my cue was about 10 years ago. I played at a place around 5 mile and Schoolcraft, I think that is in Livonia. The guy I was playing was Wilseck or something close to that. He played pretty good, beat me out of about $40 I beleive. Wouldn't mind playing him again, I play quite a bit better now so it would be different story this time. He said that Cornbread played in there also, sorry I didn't get to meet him. I didn't get a chance to go back on that trip.
So much has changed there since I was a kid. My elementary school and junior high are both closed up. I guess funding was low or something. The thing I miss most is the changing of the fall colors in the trees. We have the changing seasons here in Tucson but it is more subtle. No maple trees with red or orange leaves in the fall.
Anyway, maybe I will be back to show my wife where I grew up and the old neighborhood. If we get back there I will play some of ya around the Detroit area. Here's to future match ups.
