How many of you are ordering cues? Let's keep the cue makers going. I have a Southwest but Ned Morris is about the best. I keep him building.

I wonder whether any legal restrictions on different types of materials no longer allowed in fabricating a pool cue
has diminished demand any for ordering a new cue versus acquiring what you prefer through the resale market?

It’s more than just a question of ivory since exotic woods, different leathers, etc. are also affected. Ordering a pool
cue can be as simple as picking & ordering a pool cue from a brochure or having a cue made exactly like you want.

Besides, the really talented cue makers aren’t desperate for another pool cue order at this very moment because they
have long wait lists. So your new cue order goes to the end of the waiting list meaning it will not be getting built soon.
 
Well, as a guy I would say that there is no correct answer when it comes to cues and women. You may think that you have the best of both and I may think that I have the best of both. We could both be right or we could both be wrong. As long as we think we are right about either, nothing else anyone thinks really matters- does it?:)

Can anyone write more? Ned Morris' used cue prices should be as high as Pete Tascarella's or Southwest's.

i am sure he makes a great cue
how long is the wait to order one from him?
i sent him an email 2-3 days ago and still have not gotten a response
just sayin
 
I have one cue in the pipeline. It’s a very special cue. Been waiting 8-9 years. It’s among the last of his new build cues. It’s a Barry with a very special number. I have no idea what it’s going to look like. But it will be amazing. Not sure when it will arrive, not in a hurry.

I know he has some health issues and wasn't building cues for a while, not sure of his current status nor can I vouge for his order times, etc.

I just like his cues.

Its great he makes great cues
but the op is selling some of his collection
so one wonders is the rah rah just to boost his getting rid of the morris cues he wants to sell?
i dont doubt he likes them because he is looking for more
but if the guy has a following and is not hurting for business why go crazy promoting him?
unless you hope the value goes thru the roof and you cash in because you own a lot of them

Yes Barry is making me a cue, it was started many years ago. It’s among his last cues. I have about the 3rd cue he ever made(he told me that). So pretty cool to have a super early and late cue made by Barry. He’s such a great person.

I’ve never owned a Ned Morris cue, not sure why. Hmmmm

Don't think it will happen in 2022. She started on mine late last year. I ordered Feb of 2006. So the wait list is at least 16 years currently.
