Why bring politics into our forum period?? Not just you but anybody. Its sucks but it is what it is. I would imagine all Russian players fall under the ban like Chinakov, etc.I mean, not counting Fedor. IMHO, as against the invasion of Ukraine as I am, I don't think the ban is fair. Why bring politics into a pool tournament?

Ummm...ALL OF THEM.I mean, not counting Fedor. IMHO, as against the invasion of Ukraine as I am, I don't think the ban is fair. Why bring politics into a pool tournament?

My bad. Sorry I asked. Seriously. Why bring politics into our forum period?? Not just you but anybody.
So you think citizens should be responsible for their country’s crimes?I do not want any god damn Russians in the USA unless they are seeking asylum. If you are insulted, check your value system.
Now wait a minute. I didn’t do nuthin. So you think citizens should be responsible for their country’s crimes?
in that case we should all be shot…including you.
You don't understand how sanctions work. They are, by design, intended to make the lives of citizens more difficult so the leaders are forced to make changes or the leadership gets over thrown. Hence the saying, "It may not be your fault, but it's your problem."So you think citizens should be responsible for their country’s crimes?
in that case we should all be shot…including you.
Belarus is not part of Russia, it gained its independence in 1991.I do think it’s a bit hypocritical to ban Russian players from playing in the event yet hire a Belarusian to be involved in the production of it (ie margaret fefilova doing player interviews).
I am aware of that. Many of the sanctions applied to Russia have also been directed at Belarus due to their puppet government’s support and assistance with the invasion of Ukraine.Belarus is not part of Russia, it gained its independence in 1991.
If you think Putin is bad, it is a good thing Lukashenko doesn't have his resources.I am aware of that. Many of the sanctions applied to Russia have also been directed at Belarus due to their puppet government’s support and assistance with the invasion of Ukraine.
They should be in Vegas next week for the US Opens.I see Fedor and Kristina are at the WSPA state tournament now. My wife is shooting a team event and is excited to hopefully see them. I'm home, couldn't find d a dog sitter.
Man you must believe everything the news tells you.Belarus is allowing Russia to use It as a staging arena for Russian tanks, artillery and infantry to invade the Ukraine.
It is providing support and that makes it an ally in the war but on the wrong side. Furthermore, the Russian dwarf
dictator is asking Belarus for active military support because Russia has grossly underperformed militarily speaking.
Remember that if you have 200,000 Russian soldiers fighting in this war, only 40-45% of the soldiers are fighting
Infantry or mechanized infantry. All the others are support personnel to keep the fighting infantry supplied, informed,
fed, fueled, transported, supply replenishment, etc. So when 10,000, 15,000, 20,000 Russians are killed, there are usually a far greater number wounded. Ergo, the Russuan fighting force has lost a big chunk of its fighting infantry or been forced to convert trained support personnel into fighting infantry. The Ukrainians have met the Russians and Russia is sustaining casualties like it has not seen since WWII. It has already had a significantly greater number of troops killed in the first few weeks of fighting than in 10-15 years of fighting in Afghanistan. The Russians are in deep trouble and you know they are fearful of how they’d fare in a military action against NATO and especially, the USA. So Belarus should be included as a passive combatant on the side of Russia against the Ukraine and their support is critical for Russia to continue to wage this war against the Ukraine. And it may still send its army to help Russia.
So yes, Belarus should be included in the ban on Russian athletes and so should every other nation that helps Russia.
That includes China, the Saudis or any other country because helping Russia is validly analogous to actually fighting.
When you help Russia, you are supporting its criminal actions. That’s like the lookout on a bank robbery trying to argue
that they never entered the bank so they weren’t robbing it…..GTF outta here……Belarus is an accessory under the law both before and after the fact. Legal definition of of accessory……someone that gives assistance to the perpetrator of a crime without directly committing it, often without ever being present. Allowing Russia to use Belarus as a base for
staging invasion forces and equipment irrefutably makes it a accessory. Sanctions should levied against Belarus too.
Are you still receiving 60,000 rubles per month for posting this kind of stuff online, or has the Kremlin increased your pay?Man you must believe everything the news tells you.
When this all over we'll compare notes.
Right or wrong concerning the invasion, Putin is a genius.
You can be one to by not letting the media play you for a fool.
