I have been looking for a location big enough to open a room. I am looking at going with mainly bar boxes 6-8 preferably and 2 or 3 9 footers. Small pro shop, and snack counter/ beer sales are possible maybe some arcade games. There are several locations I have scouted from 2500 sq feet up to 7000. Of coure the less square footage the lower the over head. Any advice would be appreicated. I have been working on this for a good while now and am ready to get satrted asap. There is only one other room in my town and it is old and the tables are terrible so I belive i would do a good business if i ran it my self and kept my over head as low as possible. Thanks

Good Luck with your plan

My room is 2800 sq feet, 8- 4 1/2 x9 crowns
Rent is 2800 per month plus all the extras.

Wish you the best of luck, hope your area is not as hurting for money as mine.

Thanks, Morgantown is home to WVU and over 30,00 students + most the year and only 1 real pool room. The others that have tried and failed did so beacuse of either laziness or bad business sense. We also have a big leauge base but it's all small table action beacuse the bars mostly have just 1 bar table. No tourney at all going on and no where at all to buy a cue or case or get a tip put on for that matter. I have the demographics in my favor now it's finding a location that is suitable that is my problem.

Yes Country Club Billiards Is OPEN

:smile:Our Room is 22000sf on two floors,
I hear many People Think we are Closed but that is wrong we are still Open and we are making Big Changes over the next couple of month's. Setting our sites on another Location thats about 14000sf.

1) Convert the measurements to inches only. 2) Multiply width x length 3) Divide by 144 to get feet.

3000 ft

3BBs, 5GC 9 footers and a 6/12 golf/ snooker table. Summer pays the rent, winter is gravy. Overhead or lack of it is the key.
