How much can you turn down 3rd gen predator shafts?

I have a predator vantage that I'd like to take down to 12.5. I've seen quite a few older 314s around 12.0 or less... I know it will void the warranty and I certainly won't be breaking with it. I like the stiffness of the vantage over the 314-3 and just want to feather the last 6 inches or so down to make what I think will be the ideal shaft for my playing style. Anyone have any experience? Thank-you

I can turn down any low deflection shaft 100% of the time. I’m sticking with my antiquated Wood shaft. It was tough enough to learn how to aim the first time.

Predators web site covers this question.
  • 314-2 and 314-3 shaft: 12.25mm
  • Z-2 and Z-3 shaft: 11.40mm
  • Vantage: 12.50mm
  • Fat: 12.7mm
  • CRM: 11.6mm

Thank-you. If predator will warranty 12.5, that answers my question. Interesting that you can take a 314 down .5mm, a z3 down .45mm, and a vantage down only .4mm. I'm not concerned with the warranty as much as getting my shaft dialed in. 12.3 might be asking too much.
