I can relate to this...easily.crawfish said:Nothing is worse than playing someone who doesn't recognize that it took some skill to run out. Even worse, one who doesn't care at all, they're there to bs and drink.
I had a runnout of the diagram below. I know many might have played safe, but I was feeling confident. After pocketing the 5 ball, I hit the 10 with just enough speed to park the CB for the 6...which I thought was a damn good shot. Sure I got the high-fives for winning the match, but nothing mentioned about the nice breakout. I loss the second match and my cousin (captain) pulls me aside and says something like "I am not sure what's going on with you tonight, but it just seems like your head in not in the game." You talked about one pissed off dude. Now...I can take constructive criticism, but this was out of line (just venting a little). The next game I broke and made one, ran a couple, played safe and then ran out...win-zip. The forth game I broke and ran, but cousin was BS's outside with somebody..and he's the captain. After he came in I said to him, "I borke and ran the last match, but I guess I am a little off tonight." There was no response. I think part of the problem is that he is 10 years older than me and use to be better than me. Now my game has elevated, he might be a little envious. Just venting a little more..thanks.
