How much do you practice?

right now 0 hours practice and a few tournaments, when i get back to school 5+ hours of practice a day on weekdays plus tournaments.

Don't let pool mess up your schooling. I made this mistake and I regret it often. I dropped out of school and ended up working for 10 years in a kitchen before I smartened up and went back to school and now have a real career. Nothing against culinary arts as a real career if that's what you like. It's just a rough living for relatively low pay.

I play about 30 hours per week. About half of that time is spent alone at the table doing drills and stuff.

People who don't play that much are amazed when they hear those numbers. Most of them actually think they'd be some kind of world beaters if they played as much as I do. There are also those players who do not really admit how much they practice...how many times have we all heard that famous line "I haven't played in weeks"?
