How much shaft roll is acceptable?

I was rolling some of my shafts on the table to see how straight they are (yep, I'm bored stuck at home). How much roll would you consider acceptable? My favorite cue (solid maple pro taper) is off about 1mm (a bit less than thickness of a dime) a foot from the tip. I think that's pretty good. How far off is your favorite?

I also suspect though never checked that the roll may vary over a year depending on humidity.

i have a cf and maple shafts that have the taper roll
it dont bother me since the tip dont roll
im ok even with a little tip roll

There is no answer, other than 0- lots.
Some will feel that any deviation is unacceptable, while others will feel fine finding the alignment center and whoop your ass with the noodle.

A shaft wobbling when you roll it by itself is a sign of warpage and completely different than a shaft that is not tapered perfectly evenly from tip to joint which may result a slight variance in the amount of daylight you see between the bottom of the shaft and the cloth as you roll it is completely acceptable and even expected particularly if it is a pro taper as opposed to a conical tapered shaft - completely different than a warped shaft

Any amount you allow yourself to think about is too much.

I would like to be able to tell you getting one's head straight is easier than getting the shaft straight, but cannot.

I'm kind of OK within reason for some roll with wood. Anyone experience any with carbon fiber? Perfectly (almost) straight?
