How much would you pay for a pool room?

wow Great feedback keep it coming :-)

Adding to what Bob said:

A one or two week trial period in which you are there from open to close, recording the sales yourself is also a must. Occasionally someone might want to see a deposit to show you are a real buyer before giving you that access, but mostly people will let you do that during the negotiation process. I've done that with every business I've been involved with. If they won't let you do it without good reason then walk.

WOW thanks for the feedback keep it coming.

Not much. Have to realize that owning a business is a 24/7 job. You need to make 3 to 4 times that to even think about it being worth your time.

Self Employment is all about your Business Partners who always get paid first. Be you in the RED or BLACK!

Business License Division of your City, County, or State.

Utility Companies supplying Water, Electric, and maybe Gas or Propane.

Business Insurance Carrier who mercy you are at because without Insurance, you could loose everything.

State Sale Tax People, who want you to be their collection person.

Telephone Company who supplies line of Fax, Phone, and Credit Card Machine.

Credit Card Processor who takes their percentage from you for doing your transaction.

Social Security who want 16.9 % or so of ever dollar you show on your Income Tax as Profit. Plus a contribution for your Employees.

Can not forget Landlord, or Lien Holder on your building.

Plus maybe 20 or 30 more expenses that you will have during the course of a year.

Think if I had it to do again, I would find a NICE UNION, or Public Sector Job with Pension, and Full Benefit Package.

Thanks Cowboy

not a dime...you'd have to pay ME to take it! You can make a grand a month doing far less work (and with a LOT less headaches) than owning a pool room.

I could not agree more, don't do it.
