How much would you spend? Plus what would you buy for a?

The most I ever paid was $3300 for a Beautiful Cog.. It would have cost $6800 for Joey Gold to make another. I liked it but did not like to have to worry about it all of the time so I sold it in Trade for a Bender and a Thomas Wayne plus big$$$$.. I made out very well on the deal after selling the Bender and Wayne.
I now shoot with a $2000 Gilbert and it is the best feeling cue I have ever hit. I have a cue on order from Judd Fuller and it only cost me $1100. I plan to make it my main cue when it is complete.. I shoot with the cues I buy, I do not collect them.. Cannnot afford to do that. THe expensive cues do not make me shoot any straighter, but I enjoy having a cue that I am proud of. I really appreciate a good cuemakers work.

Joe...Spends more than he should, but life is short!

The most i'd ever spend would probably be 1500. But at the moment i'm spending 350 for a local 6 point hand made cue by Mike Casey. It hits extremely well, has top notch inlay and point work, and is the best option for the money i have to spend at the moment. But, eventually i'd like to own some matching Rick Howards (mace j/b and playing cue).
