I live in central IL, I have a newer GC IV 9 footer, was boxed for a few years, and setup for 1 yr. The pocket castings don't fit flush around the pockets, they are all the way down on the wood, probably needs some wood removed to bring them down flush. The aprons have a little gap betweem them and the rails, won't pull up anymore. I would like to have the rail rubber replaced with new softer facings, hard ones on there now,
and new 860 cloth while I'm at it.....approx how much???? thanks
don't really respect any of the local mechanics..don't really want to change tables as this one is really tight, and comes from a Senior tournament of the Miz

What part of IL?

I would stay away from the guys who mainly sell hot tubs for a living.

You might check out the 9' tables at Dave's Billiards on Farmington Road. If you think they are done well, ask if they did their own work. I think they offer mechanic services.

There is a guy in LeRoy IL who runs "Antiquity Billiards". I don't know anything about the quality of his work, but he has been in business for a while.

You might check with the people at CueSport College (http://www.cuesportcollege.com/index.html) and see who does their work, if you don't find the answer you want here.
