How old is this Falcon? New info added

I think of Falcon as having three eras: Joss, Predator and China based.

Any idea of which this cue would have been made in?

This Falcon is old enough to fly My best guess on this one is that it is an older Falcon, probably the first era- they played very well.

Looks like Banff series cue. I'm guessing mid/late 90's. Canadian cue. Not in the line up but ringwork is similar: http://www.geocities.ws/falconpoolcues/banff.html

Thanks, Garczar. The link won't work for me, but the Banff name helped.

There was a Banff 7 listed by Jaflowers in 2005 which looks alot like mine but with a few significant differences.

There is, also, mention that Banff designs were copied from the earlier Ontario series.

Just heard back from Falcon, and they sent a copy from a 2000 catalog showing my cue as a Toronto series TL-7.

Any thoughts on Falcons of that period.

I agree, my Mustang 5 plays well. For any interested there was a Canadian TV show called "How It's Made" and they did an episode in the Falcon factory showing how "cue sticks" are made:
