Hi guys,

NOW ON E-BAY!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Nova-Custom-cue...ryZ21212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Without getting into too much detail (there isn't enough room for it all, anyway)...I'm forced to clear out. Don't fret...I'll be floating around the forums from time to time...and I'll be back in full swing sometime early next year! :D ;)

The long and short of it is: We have a baby on the way in August...and, just this morning, I received hard-copy confirmation of my upcoming ....ummm...."business trip" overseas. With these two factors weighing heavily on my family, I've gotta do what's best by them...which means the cues gotta go. We can use the funds infinitely more than I can use the sticks......especially with my being gone for awhile...and a new poolshark to wreak havoc around the house!

I've got a couple cues in the pipeline to be built...but those are coming next spring, upon my return. When I get back home, I'm going to start my collection efforts all over again.

I'm selling off my cues, one at a time, to build up a nice little nest egg for all the things that will occur over the next 1 1/2 months.

Take a look at my signature block...and you'll see what's gonna be up for sale.

The first to go is a Nova Custom cue. The cue has a dymondwood forearm and buttsleeve. Black textured leather wrap. White phenolic joint (5/16x14 piloted) with black phenolic subcollar. Cream colored buttcap with the Nova stamp. Two Tim Scruggs shafts come with this cue. The joint diameter is not exact between the buttsection and shafts...but all screws together nice and tight...and the cue plays PHENOMENAL! Each shaft is right around 12.6mm, give or take a smidge. One with an Ivor-X ferrule, and one with a LBM-based ferrule. There are some minor dings on the buttsection of the cue, but nothing at all significant. Hand rubbed oil-type finish...not the super glossy stuff.

This was Nubs Wagner's PERSONAL playing cue for awhile...so you know it hits super nice! Take a gander at the pics, and hit me up on PM if interested.

Again, this is the first one of ALL of my cues to go to new homes (except for the Wayne Holmes cue...that is the one with sentimental value to it...and it's got my initials inlaid in the sleeve...so that one's a keeper).

NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE......as I don't need new cues...I need the funds for the fam-types.

ALL OF THE CUES POSTED WILL BE INCREDIBLY FAIR IN PRICE, I PROMISE!!!

$330 SHIPPED

Well, you just be safe on your "business" trip, and get back to that new little one that will soon be joining your fold. As you well know, there are always more cues to buy!

Take care,

Wow...I been shopping for a Nova.

What is the weight on the butt on this cue? How much are the shafts off from the butt? Would you take Paypal?

i_maycotte,

The buttsection of the Nova weighs 16.05 (by my kitchen scale). The LBM shaft weighs 3.8oz. The Ivor-X weighs 3.5oz.

All in, the cue...together...weights right around 19.4-19.8oz. Great playing weight!

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

Sorry to hear you are parting with all of your cues, I myself know exactly what it is like to get new ones and take "buisness trips".

While for me it is an honor to be able to serve my country, I also see others who are less fortunate in military service. I wish that those whom have single income families had more monatary compensation. (Don't know the specifics of your situation, so just speaking in general).

Monies aside, number one.... Come home safe, even "cake" duty overseas isn't without it's perils.

And congrats on the little one.

Good Luck

Mark,
I faced the same situation last year. It is a long year to be gone, but things have a way of working out for the best. Congrats on the child, good luck moving your cues, and most of all, be carefull.

Eric

Tons of thanks...

All,

Thanks much to all for the well wishes. Military service throws MANY a curve-ball...but somehow, we always manage to press on and succeed.

Momma's gonna have a great handle on the household while I'm away...and I have faith that these cues will have good homes. I much prefer to go through ya'll...rather than the general public on E-bay.

Don't think that I won't be checking up on ya'll while I'm gone, too....SOMEBODY'S GOTTA KEEP YA'LL STRAIGHT!!! :)

Quick bump for the Nova!

FYI - each cue will be put on the blocks for sale, once the previous one finds a new home. That's gonna be the easiest way for me to give each cue (and potential buyer) my full attention on each deal I make.

Once the Nova's gone, the next one gets listed!!!!!
