How Times have Changed!

Thanks to all who read this and enjoyed it ...

I sincerely miss those days and wish there was a Brucie in each and every neighborhood, The kids of today need to be weeded off of todays new babysitters TV and Nintendo! They now learn "meeism" and isolationism instead of having fun with others and learning social skills ! :(
Peace MrLucky

I'm about your age Mr. Lucky (61), I envy you're having a room to go to. I was first exposed to pool at about 14 or 15 on an 8' table in a house once owned by Daniel Webster in the 1800's. Unfortunately, though it sparked a love, we were out in the sticks with no rooms anywhere around, so it wasn't until I was in the service (around 21) that I got to play again. This scarcity of pool rooms everybody complains about now, is nothing new to me.
You truly were "Mr. Lucky", at least in pool accessibility terms.

Thanks...

I always give thanks for the things many others take for granted :)

Hu, are you talking about Baton Rouge? I'm wondering if Bayou Billiards has reopened yet after their remodel?

Yeah, the old rooms are hard to find anymore. They were the best-- all pool, no distractions. Hell, I never even saw a woman in a poolroom until 1967!

Doc
Doc,Is Bayou the room Mike Danner ran that had fire damage last year? Thanks,Mike S.
