How to carry a cue case on a motorcycle?

Lots Of Ways

I have a HD Electroglide.

I just put it on the little package shelf behind the passenger back rest with a bungee cord. I have a 3X5 and it stays put. If the wife goes along I put them both there with an extra bungee.

I love all the people that are compelled to ak me "You play pool?"

I have a 1975 Honda CB-550. It has the old school passenger back rest (un-pcly referred to as a "sissy bar" back in the day). You can strap almost anything to that puppy.

I have an old Yamaha full dresser and I keep a bungee cord running along the bike from in front of the rear of the seat to the saddle bag on each side of the bike. I just lay the case across the seat and under the cords. I often strap my wheeled 20 cue case on this way and one time I carried the 20 cue case, an Instroke 6 cue dealer case, a George 2X4 case, 2 soft cases with cues and 25 house cues at one time. I stood the house cues straight up in one of the saddle bags and bungee corded them at about mid point to one of the rails going around my tour pack. I don't feel like carrying all that stuff out right now to take a picture. Actually I could have carried at least 25 more house cues as I still had the other saddle bag to use. I did this at night time and it was probably a sight as I had to travel about 35 miles.

I would have liked to see a picture of that...!

I would caution everyone to be careful strapping the cue to a factory luggage rack. I ruined the finish on a classic old Schon once this way riding a Harley Ultra and carrying the cue in a Porper case. The vibration of the bike caused the case to rub the butt sleeve enough to turn the finish very cloudy. Only made that mistake once....

Now I wear the cue like a samuri sword... Limiting but I don't worry about the vibes causing finish wear.

That's a very good point, vibration isn't considered most of the time. Most V-twins and V-Fours have a bit of vibration from what I have riden, so that makes a lot of sense. I would probably just strap is over my head and shoulder with the strap diagonal across the chest, but then again... I wonder what kind of impact problem I would have if I were thrown from the bike while have a cue case diagonal across my back.
