How to get the tube of cue case unplugged?

So I pulled a bone head move. I had someone come up to me at the pool hall I was shooting at and give me a flyer for a benefit tournament they were hosting. Since I was in the middle of practicing, I thanked the person, rolled it up, and slid it about 3/4 of the way in the cue butt tube of a cheap 2x4 vincitore case I have. Hours went by and I packed up to leave. Pool hall was dark, I was totally out of it, and I shoved the butt of my cue down the same tube I had the rolled up flyer in. It's now at the bottom of the tube. It's not compacted too much it seems but it's definitely in there good.

Any suggestions on how to get this out? Thank you in advance.

Put a dab of superglue on the side of a wooden dowel rod and press it against the flyer. In two minutes you'll be able to pull it up.

Tape a piece of something like 30 inches of hose pipe to your vacuum cleaner,it's worth a try, hope it helps!

Double sided tape from Walgreens. Long thin rod.

I would get one of those little Whitten sticks and twist it around until it grabs whatever you're trying to pull out.
I've used one a few times.

Use a coat hanger with a bend on the end to hook it,
My second suggestion is to get a quality case.....

Ask for another flyer :-)

Of course you're on the other thread fighting with Lou-Fig, when you should be here
sharing your experience with case repair.
I'm a little disappointed John, I expected quite a bit more from you on this thread>>
You could of at least advised him not to get the next flyer stuck, and the advantages to
the world famous "Ultra-Pad" interior when flyers get stuck in a JB case>>

Tape or glue should work, but if it doesn't, go to a Harbor Freight, hardware or auto parts store with you cue case....

Find one of those long, thin grippy hook things (nut retriever with grab claws) that you can stick down in the case and grab the flyer with... pull it out. Assuming you can find one that's long enough.

Then, back on the shelf it goes.

Something along the lines of: http://jbtoolsales.com/otc-4783-flexible-magnetic-claw-pick-up/

Well....the suggestions so far seemed all fairly reasonable so I thought I couldn't add much more than to tell him how to take the bottom off.

If one were to get something stuck in an UltraPad then if it was a leather case the person could simply pull the whole interior out and then work the stuck item towards the top. If it was a Rugged series then they would need to try the other suggestions or remove the bottom of the case.

Someday I might start making all the cases with easy-remove interiors then the days of being stuck with a plugged up case will be over. :-)

That's what I'm talking about.
Removable bottom should be an option available on all cue cases when applicable.
MSS needs to create a section for all cue cases, to include standardization
specifications for body wall thickness, minimum rim-pull capabilities for handles &
straps, interior friction coefficients, and of course removable bottoms.

I can vouch for this approach. I had a friend set a business card on top of my open case (a vanity-style that was smaller than the typical business card size), and after a while, it fell into one of the butt slots. I didn't know he did this, couldn't see the business card down there, and pushed it down further when I put the butt of my cue away. I was wondering why the butt wouldn't go down all the way, pulled the butt out, shined a penlight down into the hole, and sure enough, the business card was "buckled" down in there.

Used a screw retrieval tool like jaetee mentions above -- you can get these at dollar stores and big-box stores, in addition to auto parts stores he mentions. I got mine from the orange box, and fortunately had it in my car:

In two seconds, pulled that crinkled business card out.

This was in a Sterling Wave case, btw.

Hahaha, thanks for the help everyone. I plan on passing down the case to my younger brother and upgrading to a JB Ultimate Rugged in the next few weeks. Just pissed me off that I did something so dumb and couldn't get the flyer out lol.

I'm a bit late to the dance but few problems can't be solved with the proper application of high explosives.
