Yes, there is room for a lot improvement in American tournaments.

I found it interesting/disappointing to watch the Alex in the finals of the banks only to see a couple people in the stands. Granted, it was 3 in the morning, but that's the whole point. Why play a championship match at 3 in the morning? Pool is brutal for players and spectators alike.
