How To Maintain Irish Linen Wraps

Hi how to maintain irish linens? to make it shiny and have a smooth feel always?

i dont want to be like dry and rough.. i have an all black irish linen wrap on my schon cue


whats the technique? please share your experiences.. TIA

My linen wrap started to get rough. I used for household wax paper to smooth it and seal it. Just the friction from rubbing it up and down on the linen seems to create enough heat to flatten and seal the linen. ie no need to spin on a lathe.

the best way to clean your wrap is this:
take a can of spray starch and shoot a little on a towel
wipe down your wrap with it
use a fresh towel to dry the wrap off(it will be a little fuzzy)
use a shot glass or thick coffee cup to burnish the wrap smooth
