I know that some of us might not enjoy playing rotation since the game is quite that not easy as compared to playing 8-ball. also regarding the fact that some of us are not that accustomed to playing it or skilled enough to have superb control on the CB. so here are few pointers that came into my mind to make this game atleast interesting to some of us who'd rather play 9-ball.

1. have a massive break and make sure to scatter the balls all around the table.
2. learn how to do some easy and some insane/imaginative carom shots.
3. make use of the bank.
4. make use the spot rule.
5. combinations, combinations, combinations.
6. it's good to have a refresher's course in Mathematics. :D :D :D

7. lastly, be aggressive. ;)

Any ball within a balls diameter of the spot gets taken off the table and you get the points? :)

Which spot, and I've never heard of any rule like this?

no,no,no.... the ball has to land on the spot and then you can get two points for it but only after the break or you can push out and take only one ponit...:D

sorry for my bad english. I meant use the spot rule to your advantage. it's more like a re-spot. if you had no clear shot on the OB, you can select to kick out or forfeit your turn to your opponent. CB is back in the kitchen. or may choose to re-spot the OB in the event that your opponent has committed a foul (without losing your turn). hope this helps.
