When you win, that doesn't make you a 'winner'....
Being able to get to the point in a match that your chances are very close to wining and then losing is very frustrating. Very frustrating for anyone. Winners usually are very experienced 'losers' that have paid their price to become or at least come close to becoming a 'winner'.
When you can win when you are suppose to, and do this consistantly, you've started to become a 'Winner'. Only you will know this feeling when it happens and only you will be able to feel the sadness when your age and physical being starts to decline and you once again become the 'loser' you were to begin with.
Nothing last forever.
