I think you go red first, c/d/a rails? A bit of speed to return white to rail c if you miss and also be sure to contact rail b with red to leave it there?

You know they have these hi-tech things like Chalkysticks that are better than ballpoint on a napkin

Would the app give you any more info then the simple drawing on the napkin? Can you label the rails?

You can post the table link and people can edit it easily with their shot idea and repost it. And everybody is using the exact same layout. Plus there are diamonds on the table so you can line things up more exactly. You have the balls the actual color and it's a realistic looking table. I think Bob Jewett has said the ball size is not perfectly relative to the table size, but I think it's going to be better than a semicircle on a napkin. You can draw the actual paths of the cueball with a solid line, and the path of the object ball with a dotted line, for example. There's no need to label the rails as you can quickly draw out the exact shot. If that fails, the orientation is always the same so top/bottom and right/left will work.

I did this in maybe a minute and a half. You can go to that link and alter it.

I believe the above is closest to actual position of the balls.

I went off the left side of the yellow long rail end rail long rail long rail and end rail

I played it this way thinking I had many ways to score on the red.

As the yellow went down and back and I barely moved the red , I had almost the same shot again.
