how would you run these 3 balls?

I didn't realize he meant starting with ball in hand. I was thinking "bank the 12 cross corner with a little outside english, go 2 or 3 rails for a slight angle on the 10, use follow to pocket the 10 and come down to the other side of the 15."

And as for theoneandonly's shot, I'd just use a natural roll (half a tip or maybe one tip above center, no side at all).

Yeah, I did the same, starting with CB where it is, and came up with a kick to start, like:
START(
%JN7D0%LO2Z8%OC8O7%PN6O5%QZ4H8%RL4C5%SK9Z0%TD2O1%U\7Q9%VO7D4
%WJ3Z3%XN1P4%YD3Q9%ZI2[1%[P3D1%\Z1I3%]S1D2%^C7P8%eB5a7
)END

which would be tough; guess you could start by banking either ball on the side rails as an alternative.

With BIH, if righty, shoot 12 into lower left, 15 into upper left. If you have angle on the 15, great, shoot the 10 into the same pocket as the 15; if not, shoot the 10 into the upper right pocket. (I would try for the angle on the 15)

thanks for the replies...

dint realize it was in a workbook already, hope nobody minds... just something i had been thinking about lately

START(
%JN7D0%LC5[4%OC8O7%PG6X1%eB5a7

)END

START(
%JN7D0%LC5[4%OC6C3%P\5F8%eB5a7

)END

Nothing fancy unless it's needed.

hey everybody, in an attempt to guage in a fairly basic sense of how different people would run 3 balls.

please assume all 3 balls are touching the rail and in the middle diamond of their respective rails. you have ball in hand.

thanks for the help, i'm mostly just looking to see if my line of thinking is consistent with what some of the top players here would say.

I think the reply will be different as people shoot right or left handed, and are more comfortable shooting different shots the will yeild the same results.. There is no one "set" way.

Here is a variation of that type of drill. Shoot all balls in the same pocket in order. It gets progressivly harder toward the end...You will need some solid CB contol to complete this drill.

START(
%AH8D0%BC8I3%CN9D0%DC5O7%EU0D0%FC8V4%PM7G5

)END
