do you change your stance,
psr
anything different when you play billiards as apposed to pool

I just recently tried a few things different while playing that helped me make a few more shots

for playing pool
I used about 6 or 7 inch bridge length
long practice strokes bringing the tip back to my bridge hand before shooting
got down low as you can

I always felt like im not being able to see as much as I need getting down that low playing billiards

I increased bridge length to about 12inch length or so
take short practice strokes
standing much higher I can see and aim better, and make more shots

I know for a fact I need to tighten up my stroke as I almost always am off of where I hit when I swing, I saw a vid on faceboo that showed a guy using a bottle and striking the tip through at different lengths, im going to give this a try

is this something you guys already know and do or do you shoot the same no matter what the game you play?

The Coke bottle thing is an old practice aid that I learned from pool. Most of the better pool players these days use a really long bridge. Maybe they learned it from watching Efren, I don't know. I use the same bridge lengths for both games and it depends on the shot. You wouldn't want to use a 12-inch bridge for a little double-the-rail shot in a corner where the ball travels less that 2 feet but you couldn't use a really short bridge for a 5 or 7-railer where you have to hit it fairly hard.
