I am looking for some help figuring an age to an older Huebler I own. I am having a problem posting a picture sorry i am new and cant figure out how to put it on here yet. The cue is a 4 point with a nickle joint it also has white diamond shaped inlays in the points as well as 4 around the butt end. also something that seems a little different is the name is different than what i see when lookint at other Hueblers. Mine does not say "cue by" above the Huebler name.
mine simply reads
HUEBLER
MADE IN
U.S.A.
It also seems to have a screw holding the end rubber in

I will keep tring to get a pic on here ]
thanks for any help, Don

if it just says
Huebler
Made In
U.S.A.
then according to my blue book it is a present day cue 1999 or newer.
posting a pic isnt hard. just click attachments, locate the file and upload it. takes 2 seconds.

Get a free photobucket.com account and it then you dont have to worry about the pic size... Upload it to the photobucket site then just copy and paste the img code on to the post. wala pics....

i already said it's 1999 or newer. as for the value a brand new AS-H8 is worth around 765 according to blue book but i doubt u'd get that much for it plus urs has damage on at least one of the points and all over the butt cap from what i can see so i doubt it would be worth more than 450 maybe less. but since i cant see the whole cue that's just an estimation.

You may be right however i obtained this cue in 2000 at a national tournament from a guy that i am very sure had it for several years......I have known him for about twenty years but i am not sure when he obtained it, the cue if very yellowed as others i have from the mid eighties,,,, I am not trying to argue just uncertain of this cue...... does your price book allow a price for extra shafts or for a cue that is 60 inches instead of 58?
Thanks for your help.......

extra shafts are probably around 120-150. cant see it being more than that given the value of the cue. i should think that a 60 inch would make it worth less than 58 inch cue since most people don't play with 60 inch cues which makes it a lot harder to sell. but either way that cue for sure is the cue i see in the book and has it valued at 765 but since urs is used and damaged i'm pretty sure u wont get 765 for it even with the extra shaft. of course i mean u probably wont get 765 from ppl on the forum, maybe somehwere else tho.

I don't know for sure about the "made in usa" part, but i used to have the exact same cue & i bought it brand new from the muellers catalog in 1994.

Can't remember how much i paid for it, but i think it was around 500. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but Huebler used that logo way before 1999. In fact that exact cue with that logo is in the 2nd edition of the BB and retailed at that time for $551 with one shaft and $82 for a second shaft, and that BB came out in 96. I would guess that cue was made in the early 90's, as for what it's worth, whatever someone will pay for it. :)
