Does anyone know anything about Julia Gabrial? How has she been playing lately, who has she played, where has she played? When I first started playing in Leagues/Tournaments in 96' I used to play against her quite often. I'm proud to say that I've beaten her many times, and yes, she's put splinters in my fingers a few times from racking also. We are from the same area in IL and was just wondering how she's been doing!

Didn't she do real well in the recent BCA 8-Ball tourney? I watched her play some of her matches out there and she does hit em strong.

Yes she did well! I haven't heard about her or seen her since 97, but just noticed her photo and tournament story a few days ago on AZ's tournament section. She's always shot well and smart, guess she's picked it up a notch or two! Best of luck to Julia in the upcoming IL tournament!

Julia won our second stop of the year back in Feb. As a matter of fact, she knocked me out of the tournament on Sunday on her road to the win. Our next stop is next weekend in Denver, CO. I hope she comes and if she does I'll tell her about your post. I also saw her in Vegas and she played beautifully.
