Cue hits good... gotta change out the tips, shafts are little thinner than i like but i have a predator and a yellow micarta shaft that i play with on ALL my southwests.... has a nice solid ping to it when i hit it... must be the resonance of the ebony- i never had an ebony nosed SW before.. i loved walking around my poolhall last nite and everyone trying to guess what my new cue was--- carmelli, olivier, the list goes on... then i unscrewed the shafts and their eyes lit up like a 5 year old on Xmas morning... :-) had to be one of the last 'customs' to come out of that shop after Jerry died.. i will talk to laurie about the cue when i see her in a few days...
