"HunterTree" For Sale

Older Serbian saying

I think I heard that one before. Therefore, I apologize for any comments that might be considered disparaging. My original questions were simply an attempt to seek information which were met with seeming disdain by the Worminator. Nevertheless, my subsequent response was inappropriate in a "for sale" thread.

AlexB,

Here's my take on it.

$1850 for a true one of a kind cue from a couple of guys that really know their wood and know how to build a cue that plays as good as it looks is a bargain in my mind. You add in the fact that nobody is making any money from the sale it is all (every penny ) is being donated makes it a charitible contribution so to speak (not deductible on your taxes)

A while back we had an event here in the Berkshires where a plain white plastic sheep was given to local artists to paint and decorate they cost a couple hundred dollars. After they were painted and decorated they were displayed on sidewalks in front of local establishments for the summer, at the end they were auctioned for charity . The sheep brought between $2200 and $12,000 dollars each .

Do you see what I'm getting at?

Thank you for your reasoned response.
I understand your analogy, but I think there are several differences between your local sheep analogy, and the global offering of a cue for a local pool tourney, but I will not become more of a boor than I usually am and pursue the matter.
Thanks again.
