I'm trying to find out about the shooter's billiards policy on age/ the special's that they run. I have a friend turning 19 this weekend and we're wanting to check it out but I need to check on the entrance policy. So if you are a regular at shooter's billiards in huntsville and know the policies please give me a call 256-566-1336. Sorry for taking up a post but feel free, and no we're not looking for action before anyone calls me woofing :-P so yeah thanks guys. Ask for Andrew

I actually had called them, and the person I spoke with told me that to get any information about the 'specials' and policies of each day that I would have to show up. Honestly I live in cullman I dont want to drive 45 minutes only to find out that my buddy can't get in, or that the special on a table of the day isnt what we've been hearing so yeah I figured i'd come here since I could get anything reliable through the phone. Didn't mean to seem lazy by asking for it here. Sorry but thanks for the info.
 
Shooters

Open from 2pm to 2 am; must be 21 to enter . . . you can get lots of action - I've seen some BIG money games in there. Diamond tables - both 7' (about 25) and 9' (four). Drink specials each night but its not a steal. All-in-all a great place to play some pool and have a few beers.
 
carefull there. i have found their beer will make you drunk! And yes you have to be 21 to enter. actually my girl who used to work there said you can be 19. I have seen ppl in there with X's. Sunday is tourny day. I will ask Sam(the owner) to confirm
 
Sundays

Shooters has their weekly tourney on Sunday at 3 p.m., but you better bring your A-game as the talent is stiff. I believe its 15 or 20 bucks to get in it. You might want to come up and watch that one a couple of times and see if you can hang with that crowd.

Steve's Cue and Grill has one on Saturday nights at 8 p.m. that's only five bucks, with pretty good talent, but not as deep as the regulars on the Sunday game at Shooter's. You can expect to be there until 1 a.m. though if your in some of the final slots.
