Does anyone have any experience with being hypnotized that they are willing to share with us?

I was like you, wondering if hypnosis works. After learning what hypnosis is, I decided to try it.

I found a hypnotherapist who gave me a multi page questionnaire asking about how i saw myself today and how i wanted to see myself after the session. I thought hard about it for the three weeks until my session. The goal was to improve focus.

My session lasted a hour and a half. The first hour was spent going over the questionnaire, and the last half hour was the hypnosis session.

I didn't notice anything different until the next evening when playing some friends. I was shooting lights out and noticed my friends were trying to shark me to get me out of my game. I was aware of them but my focus was still narrow and rock solid. It made me a believer.

It may not work for everyone. But if you made an open mind it my work for you.

True, Ryan Elliotts offering comes with 6 tapes. What I did for 1 year was listen to 1 side each night in bed (with head phones). Man, they sure are relaxing.

My experience at playing was very enjoyable. There would be times in a tourney where all I could remember was breaking the balls on the first rack and then at the end of the set my opponent would get my attention and say "you won". Man I sure dont remember playing.

Then there was times when playing that there would be people taking and the juke box blaring but to me it just sounded like some noise. I cant explain it, just that it was spooky.

I havent listened to the set in over 10 years, since starting to play again I have toyed with the idea of starting listening again. At 65 I can use all the help I can get.

I don't think it could hurt? If it can't hurt, it could help.
(This from a guy that once broke a stick because he swore it had a Voodoo spell on it) (It did).
