I was a Modelo fan before it was cool! Pretty sure I’ve had Asahi, it’s in the states, isn’t it?

I think so. Along with Kirin, I think it's one of the most commonly exported Japanese beers. It's a decent beer.

7-11 was the name because it was pre SW, not open 24. yes I’m starting a pre SW thing, it was open 7-11.

Asahi does offer a stout I believe. It's usually the silver can that they have tapped in bars here. It's probably the most common import beer you'd find. Guiness isn't really too strong. Where I am from has a delicious Guiness looking pint called 'Spingo' - that shit is strong!

Beer in the US, much like here in China, I found generally quite weak compared to European beers. Of course there are exceptions. There's only two Chinese beers I like which are +4% (Wusu, and Tsingtao), and a couple of US beers.

I'm not a fan of all the artisan crafted piss water.

I'm a big fan of cask-drawn, real beer. Room temperature and no bubbles for me haha

Concepts are different in China. SW AFAIK was started by American road guys and company who went at least to Taiwan to collect some dues.

7/11 here is the same chain, they have them all over the world. They are 24hour here (mostly).
