I’m calling foul

In seriousness, a foul when anything not part of the table is hit. I have seen contact with the light played both ways.

I have to admit I have taken fouls many times for people crowding my table, particularly while breaking. Nothing like a power break that jumps from the cue tip and flies over the whole rack and hits somebody in the 'nads. Get the hell away from my table.

Hu
When other players would get mouthy or stand in the way we used to load up w a lot of outside and send the cue ball rocketing off the table to either the left or right, depending on where the idiot was standing. 2 points for the nads!!👊🏻

At our local pool hall you can see the burn marks where people break the most, and that is near the cushion on both sides of the table that will end up hitting the second ball in the rack. I think oftentimes people hitting from the extreme edge have a tendency of hitting a bit downward on the cue ball, similar to jump shots, and the cue ball hits just above center on the rack ball and sends it flying upwards and off the table. I break with a pretty good speed and sometimes I hit slightly down on the ball and the cue ball ends up going flying.
