American Road Player Producer
Hello! I want to thank everyone who has taken part in this campaign in one way or another. That includes the great conversations and the contributors who felt inspired to help us try to raise our goal. Although we did not make our goal, we have learned a great deal about this world and it's community which will help us as we move forward.
There continues to be quite a bit of speculation about the show and our intentions so here are a few thoughts that I will hope to clarify some of the questions.
1. Refunds should have been received by all at this point so if you have not received yours, please contact me directly and I will make sure it goes through ASAP.
2. The show is not dead. The campaign was not the only source of raising some of our $140,000 budget. We are also raising funds the more traditional way and continuing to promote this concept as a viable show not only for the web but also television. We have worked for three years and already spent close to 20k on this project so we are invested to see it through.
3. Our crowdfunding choice was in an effort to bring the community and sponsors into an opportunity to promote pool and it's players and make the much needed push to get a show about pool on TV. We are still confident in that and will continue to be as creative as possible to make it happen.
My fellow producers and I thank you for your time and efforts and we look forward to a much larger conversation in the near future!
Please feel free to contact me through the AZ website if you have any specific questions and I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.
Have a Great New Year!!!
Thanks
Peyton
