I was poking fun at big kats quoting apa thread. ...pogmothoin got it right....its a joke
On a serious note..if you give an opponent of equal playing ability bih 4 times during a match you deserve to lose and I said as much in big kats thread.
I have to say that part of your post bugs me . You and many others think that when an opponent plays better than "you " think they should the first thing that pops in your mind is that they are a sandbagger.
It does not matter that they had the easiest layout you ever saw.
It does not matter that they got a few lucky rolls
It does not matter that they made a shot that they could not duplicate if their life depended on it.
The only thing that matters to you is that in this particular match they ran more balls than "you " think they are capable of and therefore must be a sandbagger.
It's funny as hell but sad at the same time.
You can tell exactly how good they play in 3 shots. If you get out of a rack playing good position, making good shots, no accidental bumps of a ball to get lucky shape, and run out, that would show me exactly how good the player is. Just because someone beat me would not matter. And I don't play in leagues so it really does not bother me personally outside of the fact that someone is cheating LOL
You should be able to tell if the run was just a fluke or was planned out. I play in a handicapped tournament where there are a few 3s. Every so often one of them gets on a roll and runs 4-5-6 balls, but you can see they are struggling with position and pocketing well. Heck, I want those people to get better, I teach the lower level players something every week, sometimes in the middle of a match LOL. If a 3 is running out and is on way to becoming a 4, I'm very happy for them, not complaining that they beat me. If a 3 ran 6 balls on me with perfect shape and precision, that is where the sandbagging title would stick.
