I can only speak for normal people. So, I'll ask you again....why are you selling the cue?
Well, the DCC is starting, and would love to have some cash to go, and for more then just a few hours each day. Have to catch the casino bus to get there, and can only stay 6 hours (before the casino bus heads back to Louisville). If I had an extra couple hundred, then I could stay as late as I want, and then get a taxi back home to Louisville. I have the worst timing for being really broke. I really want to go to the DCC. Lol, pretty stupid reason for wanting to sell my cue I guess.
Sell something else then, cues are one of a kind especially if a custom maker one. Or stop buying cues and save the money LOL
About Taxi, try Uber, they are usually quite a bit cheaper. Even at DCC I'd probably get bored after 6 hours of hanging around.

So why would anyone buy a raffle spot, using your same logic? You're not making sense.Never mind. Post deleted.

From what i remember on this topic: the powers-that-be at AZB were notified by the state AG that raffles could very well be gambling. Thus raffles here were stopped. For a while there was a couple of raffle sites(i won three cues in two years-sweeeet-) but they are no longer active. They were MegaMillions Mega-ball based and worked quite well. Not sure exactly why those sites stopped. My guess would be threats of legal action. It was just an idea, but now that I know that online raffles are illegal, I will not be trying it. I thought that people might be interested in risking maybe $5 for a chance to win a nice used custom cue. $5 times 69 powerball numbers would get me almost $350, so even if I went a dollar cheaper on that price, then I could still get around $280 for the cue (at $4 per number with 69 numbers sold). I thought it was a good idea, but I guess not (and it looks to be illegal anyways). I love the cue, but really wanted to have a good time at the DCC, since this might be my last year that I will be able to attend.
What's with all the cryptic answers? What is it and what do you want for it?

Ok then, keep you're cue and enjoy it. As for DCC, yeah they're gonna move it so YOU don't have to drive as far. Are you insane or just broke/cheap? Sorry for the bluntness but you come across as a major-league whiner. Here are pictures of the cue (but I think that is all I can safely post here in the Main forum, without getting in any trouble with the mods).

I really do not want to sell it, but the DCC is going on right now, and I am sadly too broke to attend (until Wednesday and Saturday). Would love to go every day, and stay late into the night. No money for taxi though. Too bad they could not change the location to a hotel in Louisville, or maybe relocate the casino to maybe New Albany (or Clarksville IN) for example.

Yeah, it is gambling in a way. I do not know, but I thought that maybe it might be legal if I were to donate like 20% to a charity. Maybe a charity of the winners choosing. Just an idea.
It's funny, legal charities only have to donate like 10%, maybe less, of their procedes to charity, yet we can't do raffles here even if we did 100%.
YOU mentioned wishing they'd move it and i responded. Its called SARCASM. Look it up.I do not drive (never learned how, and was always too scared to try to learn). Yes, I am a whiner (can't help the way I am). There is no cure for my mental sickness. I am very poor, and I imagine most poor people are cheap (they have to be). If I could find a good paying job, then I do not think I would be cheap. You are joking about them moving the location of the DCC, right?
