i know i dont do this for a living anymore but a coworker called and needed help assembling an AMF black magnum so i figured what the heck.
boy i forgot how much fun it was to work on tables i accually had a ball.....
they had moved the table their selfs and placed the slate on it but were scared to cut the pockets and the bolt holes....
thats where i came in .....
first the table was setting on the garage floor and was not leveled at all
second they had the face of the cloth down not up
third they had folded ther cloth under the slate to hold it in place (thats right no glue at all)
after i removed the sides and the cloth i found that the slates were not bolted down(well duh how else did you think they could fold the cloth underneath the slates)
one of the rail cloths was comming out of the feather strip (and they showed me the rail cloths but they didn't know what they were for)
well i ended up assembling and recovering the table and the funny part is i had a ball,i forgot how much i enjoyed working on tables.
i took my camera but the batteries went dead and i only got 1 photo and one video of me pulling staples.......
