the other day i was lamenting the fact that i failed to draw this very same shot back far enough for position on the '3' ball to drift down table for the '5' ball. and ultimately hosed up the rack.
tonight i have this spread, after making three balls on the break. i am kinda excited since i actually have a chance to run a rack, finally. so i tell myself to be sure and dont choke this draw shot and leave it way short like i did the other day.
so, what do i do? instead of drawing back around Point A, i overcook the draw shot and end up at Point B. now i am left with a very difficult thin cut into the side on the '3' ball - which i miss. end of that runout.
its times like these that "Try Mens Souls", as someone once said.
i've practiced this type of draw shot 50,000 times - and i failed.

p.s. Point B didnt show up, but its way down by the corner pocket.
