Did really well and got 13-16 at the hardtimes one pocket tourny today. Then i play Steve housh race to 5 for $400 getting 9-6. I played awful. He wasn't showing any speed and beat me 5-0. Good humbling times.

I remember Steve! I sold him my Bobby Hunter cue about 13 or 14 years ago. I'd love to get that cue back, but last I heard he sold it to Pat Maclane(???). Good player.
Yep. He was very sporty. Not to many people beating him in any pool game.
Honestly if he's giving 9-6 he probably doesn't have to show any speed. You might want to rethink the game.
maybe try asking for 9-5, see what he says

Sadly people think I play better then I do and that was the best spot I could get. Good $400 lesson don't play run out artists.
I asked for 9-5 and he said only for 1k. So I kindly declined. I understand the game and bank well just hey nervous and choke. Not because the money though. Just trying to get better
