I have so much pool stuff, cues that are very desirable but not perfect, tons of extra shafts that are playable but not perfectly straight, gobs of scuffers and accessories that just aren't worth taking pictures of and trying to sell individually. Cues that you just don't care about but don't feel like messing with even though they really are pretty cool. I have some Huebler stuff for example that's rather nice... but not something I want to photo and explain and deal with so I'll probably die with it. I keep thinking someday I may put it all in a giant box and sell it all as a lot, But I never do. How bout you?

To answer your question, I probably do.

Like guns, I have pool cues I have forgotten I owned. For instance, someone asked recently how many CF shafts I had. I had 17 at the time and forgot that 2 were missing. I don't know how many butts I have at the moment.

When new folks join the leagues I'm in, I find something in the range of a Viking Valhalla out of my collection to give them. I figure the $35-50 investment is worth it to get more folks into the sport.

jayman, just like you I have a collection of cool billiard cues and other billiard collectables that mean something to me. Fortunately I have four children that all love the game. They have all managed to get into the corporate world and do not need to sell anything from my collection. I am sure that my things will stay in the family for at least another generation.

Unfortunately it is just not my billiard collection, as I have gathered cool things from many fascinations.
Come to think of it...I need to clean out my garage.

I bought my first cue in 1977 from Eckes cues in Marshfield Wisconsin which my little brother eventually broke.
I replaced it with another just like it in 1983 which I still have.
I bought my second cue in 1995 and still have it = Meucci 95-11 which is now called the HOF 1
The next cue was a door raffle prize at the league end of the year party which a partner won and he has since passed from cancer.
The above cue is now my break cue.
I was talking with a friend today that stopped playing pool in the late 80's and has a McDermott cue that he no longer uses and said he will give it to me once he goes through his storage room and finds it.
I also recently gave a lot of tip tappers, tip picks, and other items away. :)
