Thanks for the compliment! I was very careful about the usage of Pink Ivory, which is why I opted for the oval rings as opposed to the soild oval windows. It can be very easy to over-do the Pink Ivory, IMHO. But then again, I think it can also depend on the shade of the Pink Ivory being used.

Wow, I have always love hearts on cues. My birthday is on Valentine's Day and I really love your design. I will look forward to seeing the finish product. Someday I hope to commission an item from Skip as fine as yours. Thank you for sharing.

Skip doesn't really have a list....yet. His average build time is currently being quoted @ 16 weeks. His basic four point cues w/veneers (I believe) starts @ 800.00. I have been extremely happy with the way his cues play, as he is a player himself. He is highly regarded for doing some of the best pointwork in the business....always even and crispy crisp. Everything he does on his cues is crisp...he is very meticulous. He is also a pleasure to work with...a very nice man indeed.
His traditional looking cues are highly regarded, but his ability to do more original looking cues is a bit under-rated, IMHO. For some examples of his more original cues have a look in the Skip Cues thread here in the Gallery, and look at Zeeder's cue, which he designed and Skip executed beautifully. Also, www.cueaddicts.com have a few examples of some more original-styled cues. And Joe's cue @ www.classiccues.com under the SKip Weston link is another stellar example, and very fancy.
I could go on and on....Lol. I have to credit Joe @ classiccues for turning me on to my first Skip. Without having experienced that first cue, I wouldn't be here waiting on this one today.

What color or wrap are you going for ?, I would recommend brown/maroonish leather wrap for this cue..or go all the way with maroon lizard skin to complement the pink ivory and the BdR

I can't afford the additional cost of the lizard wrap, so I am going with a linen....I can always change the wrap later. I, to was thinking a burgundy specked wrap, but Skip has something in mind, so I told him to surprise me.
I figure the heart inlays will make it less attractive to any male wishing to abscond with my cue...Lol.

It was a last-minute change. This cue is basically phenolic-less. I have heard great things about the piloted ivory, so I thought I would give it a whirl.
