Shaft Collet Friday evening somewhere between the two lathes while in a hurry to get some shafts finished, it was an old Hightower I believe. I had a real hard delrin 13mm that I didn't like and I made one from nylon that got me out of a pinch. I just wanted to know what the other great cuemakers here on AZ like the best is it Hightower's, Unique's or any other brand I can order 10 of, or do most of you make your own and what works best nylon, delrin, teflon. I grabbed a foot of tubing in 2 sizes and it sucked and was no where near centered enough to do a ferrule or tip, give me some ideas please.--Leonard

I made mine from Delrin - machines nicely. But, yeah, you're best off using Delrin solid rod and most of it ends up on the floor ($$). Ithought the black (I have used both black and white) turned out great.

My 2 cents,

Gary
