I love to Barter!!!

Like the title say's, I love to barter! I've traded cues (and other things) for so many things over the years, it would be impossible to list them all. I like to do this for several reasons, but mostly because I'm usually able to put one of my cues in the hands of someone not likely to spend the hard earned cash to purchase one. A lot of people would like to have a nice custom cue but can't, with the economy the way it is, justify taking the money out of the family budget. With a barter both sides can leave the table happy and usually without having to consult a good divorce attorney afterwards.

The reason I'm mentioning this is that I'm reaching a point where I'd like to upgrade my computer equipment. I'd like a good laptop and also a decent desk top computer. If there are any computer geeks here who'd like to do some bartering, send me a PM or email (sherm@shermcue.com ) and let me know what they want and what they have to barter. I'm pretty liberal when bartering so if you're serious we can probably strike up a deal!

My offer isn't limited to computers. If you have something else in mind, it doesn't hurt to ask! Never can tell. I also need a good auto mechanic, body man and a HVAC man to do some work, but they'd have to be near the Cincinnati area for that.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Divorce thing might happen like you said.I'm retired and horse trade a bit
I have a 9.9 HP Evenrude to trade.Do you fish?Let me know what you might need I'm only about an hour from your shop. You mentioned running with Spaeth, saw him shoot here a few times.Did he use one of your cues?

Yes, Gary did play with a Sherm.

Sherm, I have to ask you how many shafts did Gary go through? I remember the way he would follow through and bend the shaft like crazy

Hey Sherm,

It was a pleasure to do business with you. I am the aforementioned computer geek so coming up with a trade was an easy proposition. I just received the new cue yesterday and will be playing a tournament with it tomorrow. Thank you again and to anyone who was contemplating a trade, Sherm is definitely a great guy to deal with and makes one helluva nice looking cue. Now that I have seen your work in person I wouldn't hesitate buying one outright either.

Kind regards,
Dave

Here is a not so great picture but I think you can still tell how nice it is. Really beautiful in person.

The woods are:
Forearm, East Indian Rosewood w/ 4 Birdseye Maple floating points.

I dont want to step on Sherms's toes here or knock his action but if he pases on the trade please give me a call. I live on the gulf coast and am wanting a small fishing boat and could use the motor.
