I Need A New Tip

I agree with the others about Le Pro. They are inconsistent and you may come across a good one, but it's unlikely. Personally, I will stay away from them, they also tend to mushroom after only a short period of play. The holy grail for me is a Moori Medium.

I've been using Talisman hard or xhard for a few years and like them a lot. I"ve got some Morri quicks to try now. Got a few of them to sell for $10 each. If anyone's interested pm me.

Mark Wilson says i need different tips on my cues. i have been shooting with Tsunami tips, just dont know what to change to? i prefer a medium hit so i wouldnt want a hard tip. but i dont want them to be too soft either. my concern is what one thinks is hard, the other thinks is medium. and vice versa.

any ideas out there posters?

I experimented for quite a while; Talisman-M, Moori-S,M,H, Hercules-M, etc. and liked each one for different reasons depending on the cue, the shaft joint, hit and so on.

I have now been playing with Triangle tips for the longest time....seems to be very consistent, easy to rough up or pick to hold chalk, solid (firm) hit, good cue ball action, never mis-cues (assuming you take care of it). Bottom line is you may need to experiment before you find what you like.

PS -
I think your current tip may be delaminating or something if it 'pushes up'. If you like your tip, maybe just replsce it with the same. Merry XMAS :)
