I have been playing for a while now, but I'm still not very knowledgeable about cues and they're makers. I only have the lower half of the cue, I was curious if the top section of the cue is even replaceable. It seems like a unique cue.

The top of the lower section of the shaft, before it screws into the top section of the shaft, is square.
I've never seen this before. Also, the thread that connects the top and bottom sections of the cue together is fat and short, which seems odd to me as I normally see skinny long threads.

I was wondering if anyone could provide information on the cue, its origins, or its maker.
I have several pictures so it shouldn't be too hard to see.

Thanks in advance
