Ok I bought a pool cue from a friend whos dad use to sell pool cues...The logo on the butt is jcc and I cannot find anything about the cue anywhere online. If you have any info please post and help me

What you have there is a cue that in all probability belonged to John C. Calhoun, the seventh vice-president of the United States. Mr. Calhoun served under President John Quincy Adams from 1825 to 1832 and was a proponent of free trade, states rights, and almost all of the rotation games. He once commented that he wished someone would invent a pool game that used only two pockets on the table. When not engaged in the affairs of state, Mr. Calhoun could usually be found at the Hogsbreath Tavern and Billiard Emporium, knocking back a few quaffs of ale and playing three-cushion.
Only two known examples of his personal cues remain. You're a lucky man indeed. ;)

You are correct, the JCC logo is a older model of a Jackson, I have forgotten when they changed to printing Jackson on the butt, however, it was before 2003.

They are still in business, and I agree they are good sound hitting cues, it sounds like the Op got a good deal.

Good post

1. Thank you manwon for the clarification 2. how much would this cue be worth apporximately and 3. are you from montana?
