Not really. With 9b/6b you get 2 clearly structured rotation games to practice running proper racks, and 3 money balls if you’re gambling. Played this all the time when I was sneaking into bars on east coast as a kid in the late 80’s. Where I play now, everyone thinks its weird at first but everyone I turn on to it loves it. Great for casual social ring games also (vs say cut throat). You're knocking in the exact same balls. There is no more games. If you play 9-ball and 6 ball or eight ball and then just knock in the other four balls that you didn't make. You're still just knocking in 15 balls there is no extra.
Played a 4 handed game called Chicago or also known as 1 and 5 for 3 days straight.
The Coke (nose candy not the drink) ran out after 2 days and the last day was brutal.
There was a 25" TV with a VCR and a stack of porn tapes.
Pool ,porn and Coke.
This was the era of coke in the '80's
