my dilemma is this........i have an image in my mind as to what my pool "shot" should look like. I come into stance.....i smoothly take a few practice strokes close to what I imagine my shot should be, aiming and zeroing in the whole time, then I let it go. Ok it seems when I do that, I miss, miss horribly, completely get out of my game and want to kick my dog.
ok tonight i got into a 4 man 10ball game and shot the lights out, running out numerous racks and even stringing together 3 consecutive 10ball runouts break to break to break. During tonights pool session how was I shooting? I would slowly melt down into shooting position with my cue straight out towards the cb, lining everything up......then taking 2 very slow very tedious practice strokes and shooting and I couldnt miss. Its great to shoot with this kind of result, but it doesnt "feel" right. Will some of you higher ranked shooters share your setup and shot routine with me?
