Bottom line... If the "cheatee" is not smart enough to catch the "cheator" then nothing you say is going to change anything.
I would suggest giving your morals a rest, and staying out of it ! (even tho that may be tough to do.)

I think it's interesting discussing ethics and etiquette among gamblers.

Really the bottom line is. Know what you know, don't get hurt physically and stay in a position to play more.

It always amazed me when fights or worse happen over a pool game. As I suspected, there are many view points and considerations when these situations occur.

Make a mental note and stay out of it if you aren't friends with either. You probably don't know what's really happening even if it seems crystal clear.

Who's playing....

For me it would be a matter of who's playing...

2 players I dont know, Im not saying a word. If I made eye contact with the cheater he would know I saw what he did..

Cheater A is playing cheater B, I know them both, I might say somthing just to pi** them both off, They would both already know I dont care for eather of them.

Cheater A is playing my friend, I know them both "what the hell are you doing" fires out of my mouth

Chaeter A is playing my friend, I know them both and know cheater A has a big gun , sorry friend you should be watching your own game

My 2 friends are playing, Its the last rack, of the last set for all the cash, I look at the cheat shake my head and laugh, when the cheated turns to see why Im laughing, I shrug my shoulders and keep laughing. When the cheated leaves, I ask the cheat "where are we going for the steak dinner" :thumbup: , knowing the next day we would go tell the cheated and give him his cash (minus the price of dinner of course ) He won he would have paid anyway...
