i saw where there is going to be a summer expo in maryland.....any idea how big?

heres my problem, i live on the east coast.....so the expos out west dont really work for me because i hate to travel that far for just an expo. Valley forge isnt that far but i cant make it to it because of the time of year its held. I read in billiards digest where this year the bca is going to do a summer expo on the eat coast, probably maryland. I wonder what kind of turnout there would be to that. I really would love a chance to hit with a bunch of different cues for once at one of these expos, anyone here plan on going?
 
Yeah, I forget where and when exactly, but I will probably be there. Also if you cant make the SBE because of the time it's held, they have an SBE2 this august. First time they are doing it twice in one year at Valley Forge.

I don't believe there's going to be any vendors. This is more of a bar box tournament with a $10K first place prize.

Nope... according to the website there are the tournaments plus space for 40 vendors. It will be held only on the bottom floor...

When I first read about it a couple of months ago they stated that the public would only be allowed in on Sunday. According to the website that has changed and the public will be allowed to enter on Sat.

August 10-12, 2006: The Back to Billiards Expo will complement the BCA’s April Expo, by also being "open for business" only to certified dealers and room operators; the public will not have access. On Saturday, a separate lineup of special events* will generate billiard excitement, and the public will be invited to participate in an official Guinness World Record attempt, watch world-champion trick-shot artists, take instructional clinics and attend the BCA Pro Tournament.

Looks like we'll have to keep an eye on it to see what changes between now & then.
