I was getting my new (to me) table set up and the rubber turns out to be bad.

Gonna cost me some extra for K-66 rubber.
They told me $175. That sound about right for a 9ft table?

That is installed

Getting a new 9'er and you're still complaining?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!@#

I would tell them you want the high quality rubber. It may cost a little more now but will last a lot longer. The cheap stuff will be dead in less than a year.

Gregg,

My wife wants to know where you got her picture from??

Yes I am whinning some, who likes spending more money then they thought they would????

And, I want to make sure I am not getting screwed.

I am now figuring out that K-66 is the profile and there are various brands. I will find out the brand.

That ain't bad for K-66. Get it done and just be done with. You will be happier in the long run.

I would recommend Championship Tour Edition Dual-Density cushions. They are magnificent cushions...

Well, its to late. He said he has already ordered me Premium K-55 rails. They cost him $65 (passing that exact cost to me) and then charging me $110 to put them on.

He said that unless I have the table in direct sunlight or under a heater vent, I wont have to worry about them for many many years. (his words)

I guess I have to trust the guy. He is the table mechanic for serveral of the pool halls around here.
