Scammed
I was scammed once with a cue on ebay where the item condition was not listed properly and the cue arrived in horrible shape, the pics looked fine but the finish was all bubbled, anyway--the guy wouldnt take the cue back and paypal/ebay did Sh$% about it----so I had the cue refinished and traded it at a loss. Actually I am currently in a dispute over a cue that was shipped without insurance, and I specifically paid for the cue to be shipped with insurance--it regardless was sent priority mail, without insurance, was not packed properly and the tube arrived empty (the end cap popped off during shipment and the cue is GGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE)
If I had paid for this cue with just paypal and my bank account, there would be no disputing it other than small claims court, however using citibank credit card they have a wonderful dispute team that does a good job at lobbying on your behalf over paypal's head.
See my other post about this:

So protect yourself, get a citibank card or another credit card with good buyer protection and use that with paypal and be protected, dont ever send a money order or cashiers check unless you trust the person, use an escrow service (there is a recent post about that--I hear, though never personally used, Proficient as an escrow, but Scot is a really nice guy to talk to)
